Times Tables Tests
Year 4: Tested every Friday and will compete against other class groups weekly. We advise children to log into Times Tables Rock Stars daily to practise their times tables.
Year 5: Handed out on a Friday and the test will be the following week. This is timed so please try to practice using a 5-minute time limit. Children will move onto the next times tables when they get 40 correct within the time limit.
PE
Year 4: Monday
Year 5: Tuesday
They must bring their PE kit to school, including trainers or plimsoles, in a bag labelled with their name.
Book Bags
Please ensure your child brings in their book bags every day including their reading records. Reading records will be checked every Friday.
Water Bottles
Children are allowed to bring in water bottles with water. Fruit juices and squash are not allowed. Water bottles also need to be made from plastic and not glass and they are clearly labelled.
Breakfast
Please ensure your child has breakfast before coming to school as it can affect their focus and concentration. If you want further information for breakfast club, please speak to a member of the office staff.
Spelling
Every Friday, you will be tested on the spellings you have been given in your pack. You will need to practise for the following Friday’s test.
