Over the last 2 lessons, we have been working on our final pieces of art for the topic inspired by 1960s Popart! To start, we had to sketch our own portraits. We had to decide what part of our faces to begin sketching and work from there. To complete our final art pieces of the topic, we received multiple photocopies of our sketches in our second lesson. We recapped what we knew about complementary colours and considered how we might use them on our own sketches. Then, we coloured in our sketches using those colours and cut and organised them on our coloured card. After sticking them down, we labelled them with our names and handed them in so that they can be shown in the exhibition next week!
