The junior maths team were in action today (5th February 2019) working across the Year 5 classes. Some children from 5M were working alongside groups in 5Mc, supporting and teaching the pupils methods to convert seconds, minutes and hours. They helped the children to extend their learning by modelling how we can convert hours to days and back again.

Ismail - 5M - I enjoyed being in the junior maths team and I like the challenge to go to another class to help other children in their work. I hope to help other year 5 pupils to do my junior maths team role. It was fun helping the other year 5 classes in maths.
