The children were excited today to begin writing their own story based on the book we are reading in class. The children used many features of writing today like; similes, personification, fronted adverbials and varied sentence starters. Each day this week the children will be writing a part of their story, then they will edit and publish the story. We will be displaying our work in class and we will share our writing with our peers.
