Today (17th January 2019) the Year 5 children worked in pairs and groups to solve a variety of mathematical word problems. They used their efficient methods and skills to help them solve the calculations.
The Year 5 children are now encouraged to use their IXL maths program to continue practising solving mathematical word problems as part of their Home Learning.

Nilema 5F - I loved solving word problems with my partner Indya because we could share our ideas on how to solve the match problems because to be honest they were pretty hard but it was nice working with a partner which makes it more easier and fun to do!
