Year 5 had an exciting WOW Day as part of their geography topic exploring Tanzania and mountain environments. The day was packed with fun and learning, helping pupils immerse themselves in the landscapes, culture, and challenges of mountainous regions.
One of the highlights of the day was a creative task where pupils designed their own mountain rucksack. They had to think carefully about what essential equipment a mountain explorer would need – from thermal clothing and water bottles to compasses and first aid kits! It was a fantastic way to combine imagination with real-world knowledge.
