Today (10-06-2021) the children in Year 4 had various activities to help them understand how the Christian faith deals with death and how people from other cultures celebrate their loved ones life. The children learn about Christian practices when a loved one passes away. They also learnt about a Mexican tradition, El dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) where people from a Latino ethnic background celebrate the day remembering their loved ones. The children wrote a poem and created masks as part of our learning.
