The Year 5 children enjoyed their scientific investigation in class. They made predictions before carrying out the test. They mixed oil and water and observed what would happen. They were excited to see that the oil and the water did not mix - I WONDER WHY? Encourage your child if they are in Year 5 to explain to you why the water and the oil did not mix, and why the oil was on top of the water.
