Year 5 - The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Today (26th April 2019) the children in year completed their published story based on the Aesop tale, 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'. The children used the ideas from the story and write their own version from the view of the main character - the boy. The pupils, in addition to the story added in some humour and new characters.

Sarah 5M - My story was pretty good I added cliff hangers and other features to my story so it can extend and I enjoyed making the boy who cried wolf it was fun

Dorina-5m - I really enjoyed writing the boy who cried wolf and I made sure that i was writing on a year 5 level.

Isabella 5M - It was really exciting but really hard to come up with words for my story I decided to leave it on a cliff hanger because I'm good at cliff hangers and there's a extremely funny part in my story and I added new characters that were not in the original story and we all did it in the perspective of the boy who cried wolf (we don't know his real name is so I decided to go with boy who cried wolf)??

Maelle 5m - I enjoyed writing the boy who cried wolf from the perspective of the boy

Anesi-5M - Writing our own story about the boy cried wolf in first person was nice because you can add features that would really stand out when you read it. It was good because you can add a twist to change up the original story and really make a big twist to the story??
