The children in Year 5 were pleasantly surprised today (20th September 2019) when they were told that their Literacy lesson was actually an Art lesson. The children have been reading 'The Colour of Home' by Mary Hoffman, and have used the village image as their stimulus for today. They used various colours, crayons and colour pencils to recreate the image of the African Village.
