The children in Year 5 had an interesting literacy session today (16th November 2018) where they created headlines. They used pictures from newspaper articles and their own ideas to come up with catchy and suitable headlines.
Encourage your child to read the newspapers over the weekend and watch live news to see what other headlines they can identify.
