It’s been an absolutely fantastic week for the new 6S and an incredibly busy one too. In just one week the children have: completed a piece of writing, published it and begun their writing folders for Year 6; taken part in school council elections; practised their dancing for the end of year carnival; got to know their know classroom and teacher; completed art work that’s now on display for the new academic year; celebrated the achievers of the year; visited Daubeney Fields for PE and they even caught up on a little bit of the action at Wimbledon to end the week on a Friday afternoon. Wow! I know this probably goes without saying but next year is set to be one of the best yet!
