Extremely busy term for Year 6 students who have worked really hard at Daubeney. Students have developed the ability to use context and previous knowledge to estimate new words, to identify words in written form through dictation using their phonics knowledge, and to work with a partner in dialogue and translation within ‘En el restaurante’ topic. They are now able to order food and drinks from a restaurant, and confidently use the first and third person singular of the frequent verb ‘querer’ (to want).
