During this RE Day, we spent a lesson researching each of the 5 pillars of Islam then presented our research. We then focused in on the Hajj pillar – a pilgrimage Muslims go on to Mecca. We learnt about why Muslims do this and some children who have experiences of it, or hope to do this in the future, shared their thoughts.
