Year 6 had the amazing opportunity to take part in a four-hour workshop where we focused on the work of Claude Monet. We learned that he was inspired by nature and enjoyed experimenting with light and colour. We had to create colour wheels using only the primary colours and white. We then used techniques made famous by Monet to create our own pictures and finished them off with landmarks created using graphite sticks.
