Year 6 - Healthy Mind, Healthy Me

During our SEAL lessons, 6F have been focusing on taking care of our mental health and well being. As we are getting closer to the SATs and beginning to think about moving on to secondary school, we discussed the different ways we can stay calm and manage our worries.

Here 6F’s top tips to a healthy mind:

  • Do things you enjoy
  • Meditate
  • Talk to a trusted adult (teacher, mentors, family member) or a friend about things that are worrying you
  • Get plenty of rest
  • Have a positive mind set

Sarah 6F- - A note to the year 5's who's coming to year 6 soon and gets their secondary school news very soon. I hope you get a school you enjoy but all schools are amazing some might be strict and some might be kind but all secondary schools are going to be amazing and it's going to alright. Don't stress about it!
