This lesson started off with us completing the recap quiz about physical geography. Then, we learnt about what land use meant and what this looked like across the UK. After, we learnt about what HS2 was and what were some reasons why it should and shouldn’t be built. As a whole class activity, we had a debate about HS2 and whether it should be built. We were split into two groups and came up with arguments for and against using evidence from the video we watched about HS2. After the debate, we each wrote about one of the arguments our group came up with. Finally, we completed a next step.
