... and breathe! Wow! What a first week back. To say it’s been busy would be an understatement. Year 6 started the week off with a whole school virtual live assembly followed by an electrifying science workshop. We continued with our CC topic looking into the wondrous ancient kingdom of Benin. We carried out three further science investigation through the week: investigating density by making lava lamps and density towers; investigating adaptation looking at the Galapagos island finches; and investigating how exercise effects our heart rate. We started our new whole class reader ‘The Children of Benin’ which we will be writing about in coming weeks. We also completed some art work based on our whole class reader. Not to mention LOTS of catching up with our friends at playtime. It’s safe to say we’re happy to be back!
