We began recapping our previous lesson and we shared our research on different types of shelters. We began this week’s learning by considering the different factors needed when building a structure. We thought about what the purpose of our structure would be, how it would be used and the materials, tools and techniques we would need. In our groups we discussed what we would like our structure to look like and the materials, equipment/tools we would need and then we explained why we would need these materials. Then we drew our shelter from different angles and annotated our drawing with the materials we would need and its purpose.
