In 6S we have been learning about World War II. So far we have learned about the outbreak of the war and we are reading Goodnight Mister Tom to immerse ourselves into the topic. One of the things we learnt about was air raid drills. There would be a very loud siren and everyone in school would have to hide under their desks. We tried this ourselves. We think it would have been incredibly scary.
