Year 3 have just been on a school visit to the Polka, theatre in Wimbledon to watch 'Chocolate Cake' based onthe poem written and performed by Michael Rosen. The show was really funny. The best bit 'was when Michael ate the chocolate cake in a funny way when he shouldn't have' said Reyannah. 'My favourite part was when his mum said "you ate all of the chocolate!" and all of the singing' said Ayesha. We all met Michael Rosen and the actors after show and even got to ask questions. Aftyer the show, some of us got to meet him again and he signed a new copy of his latest picture book for each of our book corners! The sunshine was the icing on the cake. We had a fantastic time in South park too!
