Year 3 - Trip to Mabley Green

Year 3 have been learning about rainforests. They went to Mabley Green, a local green space in Hackney, to note the differences and similarities it shares with rainforests. They said that both Mabley Green and rainforests have a lot of trees and foliage, though the trees in the rainforest would be a lot bigger. They found a belt, which they initially thought was a snake wriggling in the grass; luckily, they realised that you probably wouldn’t find snakes in Mabley Green, though you would in the rainforest. Finally, they commented that you definitely wouldn’t find an empty KFC box in the rainforest! (Don’t worry, they tidied the litter and spoke about the importance of keeping Mabley Green tidy too!)
