Did you know that the Romans laid many roads in Britain? They were very straight and very long! The Romans were master builders and some of the roads that they built thousands of years ago still exist today! We had a go at building Roman style roads ourselves. Take a look!

Christopher 3T - When we made our Roman roads it took a long time to paint it because there was always a bit that hadn't been covered but the rest of it was really fun. I found out that Roman roads had lots of layers of stones and gravel beneath them.
Miley 3T - I liked making the Roman roads. The box was really hard to paint but we did well in the end.
Faaris 3T - I really enjoyed making the Roman roads. It was fun painting and sticking the different layers. The roads were very rocky.
Ava 3T - It was the most Amazing Artwork we have ever done in 3T.
