Today Year 3 found out about those mysterious piles of enormous stones in the south of England that have been around for thousands of years- Stonehenge. They discovered that it was built in stages, which they carefully replicated when they created the structure out of plasticine. We left the session full of questions about how and why the stones are there. What purpose did they serve? Make sure to ask Year 3 what they think about this if you see them around!
