Year 3 had a very exciting lesson as they were introduced to the story of George’s Marvellous Medicine. The class had to make a medicine to turn Grandma into something evil! They wrote a set of instructions to make their medicine using ingredients that George used around his house. When they finished writing their instructions, they made their marvellous medicine concoction. This really brought enthusiasm towards the story and children were eager to read the story and find out what happens next. Years 3 are still in the middle of reading the story. So, if you would like to find out what happens to Grandma, pick up a book of ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’.
