After reading the fable, 'The Lion and the Mouse', Year 3 thought about what characteristics the lion in the story might have. They decided he was majestic and strong, the mighty King of the Jungle. This was reflected in their art, where they created bright, colourful manes for their regal lions. They also used their sketching skills to create a little mouse too!

Maggie 3T - Today as you can see we did lots of art. It was fun, but challenging. I think I like the mouse better because he helped the lion even thought the lion wasn't very nice to him.

Helsy 3T - First of all, I think that it was harder than it looks, but it was really really good and fun to express how other people are feeling about art, how we are feeling about art. Also, everybody did a great job, and I hope the other classes did too.
