Year 2 visited the Geffrye Museum this week for our topic on The Great Fire of London. We looked at different artefacts from 1660’s and we had the opportunity to dress up in some costumes from the period. We also had the chance to write using a quill and ink just as Samuel Pepys did when writing his famous diary. We then looked at a room before the fire and after the fire to compare the materials that were used to build houses.
