Year 2 - Subtracting Using Dienes - Daubeney Primary School

In 2G today we have been learning to subtract using dienes. This was a practical lesson where the children had to find the correct amount of tens and ones for the amount that they were subtracting from. They then had to subtract the amount of dienes in the number sentence. The children were able to use their times table skills when counting the dienes in 10's.
