This week we have focused on exploring the world of the story. We began by making collages to explore scenes of London in the past and during the fire. We thought about what London would have been like in 1666, discussing the locations in the story. We used masking tape to map out the setting, thinking about the River Thames, London Bridge, Tower of London and Pudding Lane. Finally we discussed what we could have seen, smelt, heard and touched if we had been standing in each of those locations to really immerse ourselves!
