1L had lots of fun for Wow Day! We started by practising following directions - left, right, forwards, backwards. We loved playing Simon Says! Then we went for a walk around the school using a map to guide us. We thought about the direction we had to turn to find the next place on the map, and could identify the playgrounds, buildings and climbing frames on the map. We then worked in partners to make our own 3D map! We thought about what we had seen outside and used the 2D map to help us. We had so much fun cutting, sticking and working together!
