Last week, 1S ventured into the hop garden to investigate our topic: 'nature around us' We loved being outdoors, looking at (and listening to) all that was around us. We loved the tomato and raspberry plant, carefully observing that different stages of the growth cycle - we especially liked the teeny tiny green tomatoes! We said hello to the bugs in the bug hotel and picked some rosemary to smell. We really enjoyed identifying all the different plants that were growing and comparing their leaves. Once we'd finished exploring, we found our favourite spot to sketch all we could see - we're so proud of our work and we love using the hop garden for our learning!
