For RE Day this half term, Year 1 explored how and why people celebrate Harvest. We explored which foods can be harvested and acted out how you would do this. We had fun pretending to dig up potatoes and carrots, and picking apples and pears off the tree! We also sang Harvest songs, and made our own Thank You cards describing our favourite fruits and vegetables.
