Year 1 - Parrot Class visited the Hackney School of Food.

Parrot class visited the Hackney School of Food today. We made rainbow salad and green cheese scones. We had fun practising our knife skills and chopping salad leaves. We also discussed our sense of taste as this relates to our science topic, 'Animals including humans'. We also said that the taste of food can be described using words such as bitter, salty, sour or sweet.
