1L had fun doing a science experiment today, testing materials to see if they were waterproof. We were thinking about our big question this half term 'Could all materials keep us dry?'. We predicted which materials would keep a teddy dry and then used different materials to cover a teddy in a beaker and pour water over the top. We tested paper, metal foil, fabric, plastic and sponge. Which materials do you think kept teddy dry?
