Last week in RE Year 1 explored the big question, how and why do Christians celebrate Christmas?
We read the Christmas story and acted out the story using props. We discussed how the birth of Jesus was a significant event. We also discussed how Christmas is celebrated all over the world. We identified important symbols that represent the Christian faith and decorated Christmas trees and had lots of fun singing Christmas carols.
