Audrey 4M - Well done every body who helped make the assembly it was really good?
Tante Erin - I am Elisabeth's and Aidan's aunt. Well done, my loves! I really enjoyed this whole assembly and am so glad the Daubeney School is finding ways to do virtual assemblies to keep students involved!
Miss Yasmin - That was one of my favourite assemblies so far. I, too, like a lot of the Daubeney family members, love learning about the different religions. Rev. Clive and Mrs Taylor’s parables were very interesting. Both parables made me stop and think and encouraged me to put my own interpretations on them. Elisabeth and Aidan, your presenting was perfect. You explained and spoke so clearly and were so informative. Maggie, thank you for your special soup recipe and method. I love lemons so I will definitely attempt to recreate it myself, my mouth was watering as you were making it!? Miss Patel, thank you for giving us an insight into your Eid day celebrations. Your food looked delicious, cakes looked scrumptious and both you and your sister looked lovely. I love your flowery skirt too! My Eid day was very different this year, as was for everyone that celebrated (for obvious reasons). Although different, I still had nice food with my husband and boys and spoke to my mum and siblings via video call. I was/am grateful to God that my family and friends were all in good health and reassured myself being in good health was most important and prayed that next Eid I would be able to be with all of my family, relatives and friends ??
Amir's mum - Wow ! Very interesting assembly ,thank you for showing us different religions celebrations around the world.
Hiba 4K - WOW, what an amazing assembly, I really enjoyed it. Thank you all. Miss Patel, your Eid dress was absolutely beautiful. even we are in lockdown, this Eid was the best. My mum dressed me up and made henna for me, she made a lot of cookies, yummy cakes and shared with my family. We decorated our house with balloons and lights and it was amazing.
Sheila awyatt - I am the very proud great aunt of Elisabeth and Aidan but I also think that Maggie and all the other children at Daubeney School and all the staff are fantastic too ! I love watching the school website. Congratulations to everyone.
