Amir's mum - That was an interesting assembly. i have learnt differents tips that help us cope with changes .Thanks every one and stay safe.
Miss Bibi - Thank you Miss Lucey for the great tips!
Mr Logan - A humongous well done to Miss Lucey and all the members of the Junior Mental Health Team (JMHT), this was a very pertinent assembly. Thank you to all of the adults, City Year included (#bethechage ?) who also shared how they are coping with change. It all culminated with an outstanding virtual assembly! It is said that, ‘Change is the only constant thing in life, nothing stays the same.’ Therefore learning how to cope with change is a VERY IMPORTANT LIFE SKILL.
I look forward to watching Friday’s assembly and learning what other strategies are used to cope with change by our Daubeney family.
Personally, to cope with change I often use humour and try to turn ‘negatives’ into ‘positives’. Listening to music also helps me to put ‘change’ into perspective. ‘We don’t need no more trouble’ by Bob Marley is playing as I write this!
Thank you again to all the members of the JMHT, and Miss Lucey, for truly rising to the occasion and helping our Daubeney family to cope with change and maintain our mental well-being.
Daubeney ?s you

Mrs Taylor - Great assembly. It's good to think about strategies we can use to help us manage change, because it happens so often in life- it's wise to be prepared! I have also enjoyed hearing about what others do to help them when they are worried. We can use these tips to help us too. When I'm worried, I like to do yoga, read a good book and talk to my friends.
Adolfo Arribas - Great assembly!!! Many helpful tips and ideas to try to make us feel happier and cope with all the changes we all are experiencing now.
It was also so inspiring to see other adults and pupils sharing their personal experiences in order to help each other. Thank you!
Personally, going for long walks, thinking of people and places I love and going out with my dog help me to wind down and feel lighter and calmer.
