Miss Bibi - Well Done Poppy for presenting the assembly!

Miss Theresa - Smh I'm so jealous right now! If only the artistic gene hadn't missed me, I'd be amazing like all of you. Well done everyone, especially you Pops :)

Gloria - Good Job Aaliyah, why don't you come to google classroom. Go to the year 5 page by clicking or pressing year groups and press or click how to get into google classroom and then Miss Mcdonald will talk through the video. Make sure you have you're my USO login. And by the ways well done to everyone who participated in this assembly.

Hassanatu 5B - I really like Ms Patel's work! But I think everybody did a great job

1TK - Oooooooooooooo amazing ???

Miss Yasmin - Very well done for presenting today’s assembly Poppy, and also well done to everyone that took part. Great assembly! ???

Mr Logan - My Daubeney family, I am so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderfully skilled individuals - children and adults alike! Poppy’s presenting exuded confidence! I also think that Poppy has a liking for interior design and fashion judging by the collage/mood board she created. The knowledge of our Junior Art Team is astounding! Thank you for sharing your favourite artists with us.
As for Aaliyah, please invite me to your first art exhibition ?? It is obvious that you have a passion for art by the time, attention to detail and pride you take in your art work. Keep on practising those art skills/techniques and become a master! Who knows in years to come, children might say you’re their favourite artist!
As always, a big thank you to Miss Patel for a providing us all with a tutorial master class - ending with an autumnal tree in shades of blue. Wow!
I love Mrs Taylor’s idea below.
What do you guys think?
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s tutorials from some more of the Junior Art Team and our home-learning celebratory assembly on Friday. I can’t wait to see your recreations of classic artworks.
Stay great my Daubeney family
Daubeney ?s you

Taylor - What a lovely week with all our teachers showing us great art in the assemblies

Poppy - Wow I love Miss patel’s art work

Miss Patel - Poppy, What a natural presenter, you are so confident! Your collage looked so cool! Thank you for all your kind comments everyone, I really enjoyed painting that because you don't have to be so precise and can have fun stamping on the blue paint :) I am so impressed with all of your incredible art skills, well done! Farzana, I love Picasso's art work because it is so much fun to create and always bright and colourful. Aaliyah, your sketching skills are inspiring, I can tell that you have put in a lot of time and effort in to create those masterpieces. Keep them coming everyone, I'd love to see what you have created during art week.

Miss Prisca - Well Done Poppy for presenting :), Your pictures are amazing Aaliyah!
I loved the tutorial Miss Patel and a great end result.

Mrs Taylor - Well done everyone! I really enjoyed finding out about different artists and seeing the ways in which you were inspired by them. You produced some wonderful pieces of art! I recently watched a TV show presented by the artist Grayson Perry called 'Grayson's Art Club'. Each week he set a theme - such as nature, or home - and people around the country created art based on that theme and sent it in to the show. When lockdown ends, he plans to open an exhibition to showcase the work that people produced during lockdown. It was interesting to see that people were influenced or inspired by similar things because of what has been going on around us.

Maybe we could hold our own Daubeney art or/and home learning exhibition when we return to school to commemorate the work that has been produced during this time.

Miss Pat - Well done to everyone who took part in today's assembly. Such talented artists.

Miss Lucey - Fantastic assembly Junior Art team! Thank you for sharing.
Jayleanne and Farzana, I love Picasso and Pollock too. Aaliyah, your art work are amazing, keep on creating!

Miss Emily - Great assembly! Well done for presenting Poppy, and also for your lovely collage! A big shout out to all members of the art team! ?
Beautiful paintings Aaliyah! I especially liked the painting of the mountains with a lake. The use of your watercolours is brilliant along with your perspective, everything is in proportion! ?
Farzana, your Picasso inspired strawberry is very well done, I enjoyed hearing about this artist!
Jayleanne, they were great words about Jackson Pollock, have you tried splashing paints, as he does? You could squirt paint out by usung paint bottles or use the end of a paintbrush to flick the paint,
just an idea!
Beautiful tutorial and technique on how to paint a tree Miss Patel!
Have a great day Daubeney Family!
