On Wednesday the 8th of December, we participated in St Joseph's Hospice Rudolph Run. The aim was to raise money to help the hospice look after patients. The run started at 9:30 with the receptions and the year 6s ended the run at 10:55.
On Tuesday the 14th of December, two children delivered the money raised by our Daubeney family to St Joseph’s Hospice. Emma, Community Fundraising Coordinator for St. Joseph’s Hospice explained that the money would go to refurbishing an empty ward and replacing beds that could no longer be used by patients. They also told us that 6 primary schools took part but since lockdown less secondary schools have got involved. The hospice thanked us for taking part and raising over £1128.98
Well Done Team Daubeney!
