First Council Meeting of 2026

School Council Standards

We as School Council have agreed to positively represent our peers and our school and adhere to the following expectations;

  1. Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  2. Give 100% effort in all areas of my learning.
  3. Dress smart and wear the correct school uniform with pride.
  4. Follow the Golden Expectations and encourage my peers to do the same.
  5. Make right choices.
  6. Treat others how I want to be treated; speaking kindly, remembering my manners at all times.
  7. Remember to THINK before we speak:

T= Is it True, H=Is it Helpful, I=Is it Inspiring, N=Is it Necessary, K=Is it Kind

  1. Be a good role model.
  2. Be the best I can be.
  3. Be honest and be respectful.
  4. Believe in everyone and myself.
  5. Use “kind words and not our hands”.
  6. Walk sensibly around the school.
  7. If I am sent to a member of SLT on three occasions, or my name frequently appears on the behaviour tracker because of poor choices/ bad behaviour or I behave inappropriately outside of school then I will no longer be a Student Councillor.
  8. Stay on the track to success.
  9. TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More is our ethos.
