We went on a trip to Cedar’s Nature Centre in Waltham Abbey. The coach took us to the park where we went straight to the little zoo. We had a talk from a zoo keeper about different animals and got to stroke a few. We went on a minibeast hunt around the parkland, seeing if we could spot pond skippers, bees and butterflies. We then had another talk, this time about meerkats, followed by feeding them through the window. We had lunch, had a look around the zoo ourselves then played in the parkland before coming back to school. Everyone had a wonderful day!
