Pupils were able to explore simple subtraction problem-solving activities by counting objects, crossing out the required number, and identifying how many remained by using a house-themed.
They were able to select and match the correct numeral on the door, window, roof and other parts of the house on the worksheet.
Some pupils through this activity were able to recognise numerals and d understanding that subtraction means taking away.
