Children were exploring butterflies from the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" during their learning activities. They discussed the various colors and patterns they noticed on the butterfly in the story and created their own representations of the butterfly by painting it on cardboard with chunky paints to enhance their fine motor skills.
