As part of our Diwali celebrations, pupils enjoyed creating their own colourful Diwali cards inspired by traditional diyas. Pupils carefully coloured, decorated and personalised their designs using a range of art materials, including glitter, sequins and bright pens.
The activity provided opportunities to develop fine motor skills, creativity and concentration while learning about the significance of Diwali, the Festival of Lights.
Pupils explored Diwali symbols, including the diya, and discussed how light represents hope, positivity and happiness.
