Nursery enjoyed finding out about-and trying out- different jobs people do. They pretended they were builders, wearing helmets and high-vis jackets and building with the building blocks. Fawaz said, "builders wear the helmets to protect their heads from the falling bricks! I'm making a house." They also dressed up as chefs, as you can see in the photographs. Their favourite thing to cook was eggs and pasta! On the special work week non uniform day, nursery dressed up as what they would like to be when they grow up. We had a variety of jobs including many doctors, nursers, vets, police and "a fast runner" (Jude). The nursery children were definitely enthused by their introduction to the world of work.
