Mental Health - Giving

The week commencing the 15th March 2021, Daubeney focussed on the word, GIVING.

The children discussed the importance of giving and raised money for Comic Relief. The children purchased Red Noses and on Friday 19th March the children donated money and came to school dressed as Superheroes! It was fantastic to see all the children dressed up especially the children dressed as ‘Out of the Ordinary Superheroes’. What were they? I hear you ask, take a look at our video to find out.

Thank you to our Juniour Mental Health Team who organised the week and to everyone who donated and contributed. We raised in total: £903.67

Thank you to Mr Vidler for taking beautiful photographs on the day.

The children also discussed that you do not always have to give money and gifts and that sharing kindness is very important. Here are some of our children who completed the ‘Act of Kindness Challenge’. Great work Daubeney, rememeber, ‘In a world where you can be anything, be kind!’.
