We were very lucky to be part of the Trees for Cities workshop to plant more trees in Hackney Marshes. Children planted young trees to add to an existing woodland area to create more space for wildlife and for the local residents to enjoy. They learnt about different types of trees in the area, ways of promoting good growth of trees and also all planted their very own trees.
