School Councillors visit Credit Suisse

On Thursday 28th, the Year 5 and 6 School Councillors went to Credit Suisse, Canary Wharf, and took part in a video conference with James Weldon Johnson Leadership Academy, East Harlem, NYC. The students shared collages of their favourite parts of their respective cities, and talked about what they liked about living in London and New York. The New York and London school pupils got to ask each other questions and find out about the New York snow blizzard and how their school and lessons were similar and different in different continents. The School Councillors also had the opportunity to hear Abdul Buhari, a 2012 Olympian athlete who works for Credit Suisse, and ask him questions about how he balanced training and working. The trip was a great opportunity for the School Councillors to represent Daubeney and talk about their school and city and what it means to them.
