As part of our literacy focus, pupils enjoyed listening to an adult read the story “Monkey Puzzle .” This helped them explore the different characters in the story, especially the jungle animals.
They then created their own 2D monkey model, based on the main character. Pupils followed simple steps to cut, stick, and glue the pieces together. This hands‐on activity supported their fine motor skills while helping them connect with the story in a creative and meaningful way.
