As part of our Literacy learning, pupils explored different emotions through stories and picture-based activities. Pupils carefully looked at illustrations, identified how characters might be feeling, and matched emotions to different situations within the story.
Pupils had the opportunity to name the emotions they could see in the illustrations and use their own facial expressions to represent a variety of feelings, including happiness, sadness, surprise, fear, and excitement.
